This stunning rustic terrarium bangle encapsulates a small part of a secret world that is hidden from our eyes. Upon a rock bed that’s riddled with cracks and crevices, covered with green mosses and gothic mushrooms, rests a tiny skull, gleaming with silver and gold highlights.
This fantastical bangle is the perfect gift for anyone with an appreciation of magical and unusual jewellery.
 
Every component in this bangle has been painstakingly handmade and assembled. The bangle’s bands were individually cut from a length of raw copper wire and carefully shaped with a number of tools before being soldered with sterling silver solder onto the bezel setting, which too, was entirely made from scratch from copper sheet. The bangle was then polished to a satin sheen and then coloured with a high temperature flame to bring out all kinds of beautiful copper shades.
 
Made from polymer clay, each component in the scene was made from scratch, from the rock bed to the tiny mushrooms and skull, no detail being left out, not even the smallest one. The tiny mushrooms have everything from dainty gills to lumpy spots, and the skull even has faint coronal sutures. The scene was then painted to accentuate the details, and metallic silver and gold paint was added to create a mystical aura.
 
The miniature scene was then added to the bangle’s bezel setting and the glass dome was added to finish this one of a kind item.
 
The bangle is adjustable, however care should be taken when putting on and removing it, as rebending and adjusting the bands repeatedly can lead to weaken or damaging the metal. It’s recommended that you get it to a size and shape in the first instance where you can easily slip it on and off without having to adjust it each time.
 
The glass dome measures 32mm x 32mm x 20mm
