This beautiful and unique bangle is made from solid copper and entirely by hand.
Using a length of 2mm thick raw copper, the bangle has been shaped around a slightly oval mandrel and then hammered to work harden and to add some texture to its surface. A prong setting, made from scratch using thin sterling silver, was then soldered onto the bangle and a beautiful rough garnet has been carefully positioned within them. The bangle was then polished to a satin sheen and left to naturally darken.
The bangle is adjustable, however care should be taken when putting on and removing it, as rebending and adjusting the bands repeatedly can lead to weaken or damaging the metal. It’s recommended that you get it to a size and shape in the first instance where you can easily slip it on and off without having to adjust it each time.
